A busy evening at the Forgan Distillery, the still had been prepared and fired up, and we’re making Forgan Gin! It’s coming off the still at95%ABV. The water pressure regulator for the cooling water has been installed and is working perfectly, the only temperature fluctuation is by 1/10th C instead of the 5-10C I had been seeing so the column temperature is at its sweet-spot! I’ve also been taking repeat orders from a couple of bars in Southport, Forgan Gin is proving to be a popular choice with their customers. 🙂 Apparently the fact that we don’t buy the base spirit in and we do make our own from scratch is a popular selling point with gin drinkers. #forgandistillery
